The project “Vum HéiereSoen”, initiated by the regional cultural centre Cube521 in Marnach, is an exploration of experiences, narratives, and events in the Canton of Clervaux during the Second World War, and more specifically the Battle of the Bulge.

Since the 2024/2025 season, the two artists Betsy Dentzer and Misch Feinen have been embarking on a search: What is still being told today? Which traces can we still find? How do we connect what happened yesterday with what is happening today? What impact does this have on tomorrow?

And above all: WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ME?

These are questions the artists ask themselves, but at the same time, they are seeking other opinions, emotions, and individual truths. Are there any tendencies? What can we share? Where do we drift apart? They invite the wider audience to confront a wide range of questions while also becoming aware of their own clichés, prejudices, and second-hand feelings. What if…? How would you be if…? How would we all be if…?

In the tradition of artists like Miranda July (“Learning to Love You More”) or Yoko Ono (“Grapefruit,” among others), they send assignments out into the world, always in the hope that people will dare to challenge themselves and contribute, through their participation, both to the process of the project and to the final evening, “Drei Liter!” (February 2027).

Wanna challenge yourself? Here we go --> Vum HéiereSoen.
