RadiOdyssee #16 - Good witches, bad witches

"Dingdong, the witch is dead"...says the film "The Wizard of Os"; a message that brings great relief. The role of the witch is very clear here: as the antagonist, death means her well-deserved punishment and a liberation for all. Witches often have very negative connotations and are portrayed as cruel avengers, monstrous child-eaters or cunning schemers. What other view could be taken of the witch figure? What actually are witches and who is still referred to as such..and why?

Together with their guest, Luisa Bevilacqua, Betsy Dentzer and Kerstin Thalau will try to answer these questions.
